About Nook
Nook is a Credit Union Service Organization and Platinum Tier HubSpot Solutions Partner helping credit unions modernize how they use data and technology across marketing, sales, service, and member engagement. Nook services include implementation, optimization, marketing strategy, technical support, and ongoing client services connected to HubSpot and powered by our proprietary data platform.
Nook has built more than 25 client relationships through founder-led sales. We are now looking for a highly capable revenue partner to help organize, manage, and scale the sales funnel as the company enters its next stage of growth.
The Opportunity
This is not a traditional sales support role, and it is not a traditional account executive role.
The Revenue Manager will sit between the two. This person will own the day-to-day movement of Nook’s sales funnel, helping convert marketing-qualified, partner-sourced, referral, and founder-sourced opportunities into closed deals.
Nook’s CEO will continue to serve as the face of many strategic sales conversations and will lead key meetings. This role will own everything around those conversations: preparation, follow-up, pipeline management, proposal coordination, due diligence requests, agreements, partner communication, internal coordination, deal tracking, and the consistent execution required to move opportunities forward.
We are not a high-pressure sales organization. Our approach is consultative, thoughtful, and relationship-driven. We earn trust by understanding each credit union’s goals, providing honest guidance, and helping prospects make the right long-term decision.
For the right person, this role can grow into a Sales Executive position with a dedicated book of business, quota, and increasing autonomy.
Responsibilities
Own the Sales Funnel
-
Manage opportunities from marketing-qualified or partner-sourced lead through signed agreement.
-
Own pipeline stages, next steps, close dates, deal notes, follow-up tasks, and forecasting in HubSpot. This includes keeping opportunities active, identifying needs, and calling attention to leads that need attention.
-
Help qualify opportunities based on fit, timing, budget, decision process, strategic value, and readiness.
Support Founder-Led Sales
-
Prepare the CEO for prospect and partner meetings with relevant background, context, goals, and recommended next steps that are presented to executive and decision-maker level prospects.
-
Join sales meetings to capture key details, action items, objections, decision criteria, and follow-up needs. Also help understand and manage the complexities of each prospect organization including resources who need to be involved, technical needs, legal resourcing, etc.
-
Draft follow-up emails, recap notes, proposals, pricing summaries, scopes of work, and internal deal briefs and propose clear next steps to help achieve success.
-
Ensure prospects receive the right information at the right time without feeling pressured or over-sold
-
Assist in ensuring Nook’s overall value is being communicated and prospects see the connection growth and their specific organizational goals.
Support Sales Operations
-
Maintain clean and accurate HubSpot data across contacts, companies, deals, notes, tasks, and pipeline stages. This is for both initial engagements and ongoing/future opportunities.
-
Build and improve dashboards, forecasts, sales templates, proposal materials, follow-up sequences, qualification criteria, and reporting. Create structure and recommendations that help improve the organizational sales function.
-
Build structure that improves handoffs between marketing, sales, implementation, and client success. This can include notes/tracking, client goals, expectations, stakeholder awareness, risks, future opportunities and more.
-
Help document and systematize the strongest parts of Nook’s current founder-led sales motion.
Support Client Handoff and Expansion
-
Prepare internal handoff notes for implementation and client success teams.
-
Document client goals, use cases, expectations, stakeholders, risks, and future opportunities.
-
Help identify expansion opportunities with existing clients.
-
Support ongoing relationship-building where sales, client success, and strategic growth overlap.
What We’re Looking For
-
A highly organized, relationship-driven revenue professional who can manage detail without losing sight of strategy.
-
Experience in sales, revenue operations, business development, account management, customer success, or a similar client-facing role.
-
Strong ability to manage pipelines, follow-up, proposals, internal coordination, and external communication.
-
A consultative mindset with the ability to build trust over time.
-
Strong written communication skills, especially for follow-up emails, proposals, summaries, and executive-facing materials.
-
Comfort working directly with a founder or CEO in a fast-moving environment.
-
Ability to understand complex technology, data, CRM, automation, and service offerings well enough to communicate them clearly.
-
Strong judgment, attention to detail, ownership, and follow-through.
-
Comfort operating in an entrepreneurial company where responsibilities will evolve.
-
A desire to grow into a larger revenue or sales role over time.
Credit union, financial-services, HubSpot, fintech, RevOps, CRM, data-integration, marketing-technology, or professional-services experience is strongly preferred.
What Success Looks Like
During the first year, success will include:
-
Creating a more organized, consistent, and scalable sales process around founder-led selling.
-
Taking ownership of the day-to-day movement of qualified opportunities through the sales funnel.
-
Improving follow-up speed, proposal quality, pipeline accuracy, and deal visibility.
-
Helping convert more marketing-qualified, partner-sourced, referral, and founder-sourced opportunities into closed deals.
-
Keeping the CEO focused on the highest-value conversations while ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
-
Building trusted relationships with prospects, clients, HubSpot teams, partners, and internal stakeholders.
-
Producing reliable pipeline reporting and forecasts.
-
Helping Nook protect its consultative, long-term relationship-driven sales culture as the company grows.
-
Demonstrating the potential to eventually own a book of business as a Sales Executive.
Why Nook
Nook is at an inflection point, with proven demand, strong industry relationships, differentiated technology, and significant room to grow.
This role offers the opportunity to:
-
Work directly with Nook’s founders and leadership team.
-
Help scale a proven founder-led sales motion.
-
Own the systems, process, and execution that move deals forward.
-
Influence messaging, packaging, pricing, product feedback, and go-to-market strategy.
-
Work across HubSpot, data, services, partner solutions, and future product offerings.
-
Grow into a Sales Executive role with greater autonomy and ownership.
-
Participate meaningfully in the long-term value created.
This is an opportunity for someone who wants to do more than provide sales support. It is an opportunity to become a true revenue partner and help build the commercial foundation for Nook’s next stage of growth.
