Great Lakes Credit Union Engages Nook for Secure Data Integration and CRM Architecture Reconfiguration
Nook’s purpose-built HubSpot architecture provides a scalable foundation for connected member engagement, trusted reporting, and cross-team operational visibility
Wayzata, MN — May 27, 2026 — Great Lakes Credit Union has selected Nook, a credit union service organization (CUSO) and Platinum HubSpot Solutions Partner, to support data integration and CRM architecture reconfiguration as part of the credit union’s continued evolution toward a more connected, scalable, and secure operating model.
Having already invested in HubSpot, Great Lakes Credit Union is now focused on strengthening how data, systems, and teams work together across the organization. Like many growing credit unions, the organization reached a point where long-term success depended not just on platform adoption, but on creating a stronger operational framework around the platform itself.
As part of the engagement, Nook will provide secure, automated core integration and a data architecture framework powered by Nook’s Data Connector. The architecture is deployed directly within the credit union’s secure environment, eliminating the need for third-party middleware and reducing data exposure risk.
The engagement is expected to improve data reliability, reduce manual reconciliation efforts, and create a stronger foundation for segmentation, automation, and member engagement reporting across the organization.
The partnership reflects a broader shift taking place across the credit union industry. As institutions mature in their use of platforms like HubSpot, the focus increasingly turns toward operationalizing those systems more effectively — connecting member data, reducing fragmentation across teams, and creating infrastructure capable of supporting long-term adoption and engagement.
“Nook is built for this stage of the journey,” said Austin Wentzlaff, CEO of Nook. “Credit unions are looking for more than standalone marketing tools. They need engagement infrastructure that connects data, supports operational visibility, and creates consistency across teams. That is where the right CRM architecture and integration strategy become critical.”
Nook helps credit unions modernize how they connect and operationalize data, marketing, sales, and CRM systems. Its approach is built specifically for credit unions, with a focus on secure data integration, standardized engagement architecture, and long-term operational adoption across teams.
“We wanted to continue building on the investment we had already made in HubSpot, but in a way that created stronger alignment across the organization,” said Patrick Basler, Chief Experience Officer at Great Lakes Credit Union. “Nook stood out because of its understanding of the credit union environment and its ability to create a more connected, secure, and scalable framework for how our teams use data and engagement systems moving forward.”
